No, we're not dead!
Seems like it with the amount of time between classes and all that. There are some exciting new features in the works for Mappie 2.0.
Among the things on the list are:
Better plugin support.
Native linux client.
Better 3D map handling. (Working on the ability to create topo maps)
More customizable interface.
MUCH faster display times.
More map type support.
Multiple download sources.
There is little to no code reuse between Mappie 1.58 and 2.0, it is a ground up restructuring to increase the program overall in all ways we can manage.
