R&M Systems has been solving problems — practical, technical, and creative — for over thirty years. Founded originally as a computer consulting partnership, the company has grown into something harder to categorize and more interesting for it.
Today R&M Systems is a small, capable team with an unusually broad skill set. Between us we hold degrees in Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Anthropology, alongside formal welding certifications in GTAW, GMAW, and Stick processes. We bring the same engineering discipline to a precision TIG weld that we bring to a server infrastructure project — measure twice, cut once, and understand why before touching anything.
Our work tends to defy easy description. We've fabricated custom shortwave antennas, reinforced cabinetry with structural steel, repaired lift chairs, built art supply carts, extended mechanical linkages, and restored arcade video game hardware. We've also designed and deployed server infrastructure, repaired computers, and built presentation systems for charitable organizations across the Phoenix area.
The common thread isn't the material or the domain — it's the approach. If you can point at the problem, we can probably solve it. If you're not sure what the problem is, we can help figure that out too.
One thing we don't do is pretend a job is simpler than it is. We'll tell you honestly what we can fix, what we can fabricate, and what falls outside our scope. That tends to be a short list.
R&M Systems is based in the Tempe/Phoenix area. We work locally and take on projects by commission. If you've got something that needs building, fixing, or figuring out — we'd like to hear about it.
